Gasoline/Hydrogen Mazda RX-8 launched in Japan

Curb weight is still pretty svelte at 1,460kg (~3200lb). Max hydrogen output is 109PS and gasoline is 210PS.
Pretty damn cool. Unfortunately, Mazda is only selling 10 vehicles this year on a lease-only basis at a pricetag of over $3,500/month
…yeah Mazda has been doing this project for quite a while now but the awareness of it in the U.S. is still pretty low. Hopefully Mazda will have something meaningful in production soon, as the hybrid competition from both Honda and Toyota are really heating up.
